COMMUNITY AWARENESS WALK FOR

AMY HILLYARD - June 26th

On Friday, June 26, approximately 50 family members, friends, and supporters gathered for the Community Awareness Walk for Amy Hillyard in a heartfelt evening of remembrance, hope, and determination.

Before the walk began, Chris Hillyard shared moving words with the group as everyone gathered together. There were tears and sadness, but also an overwhelming sense of love, support, strength, and hope expressed through hugs and shared encouragement. As participants set out, a strong wind swept through the group…A meaningful reminder to many of Amy’s presence and a sign to keep moving forward until answers are found.

Several media outlets attended the event, including CBS TV, Telemundo, and KCBS Radio. Their crews documented the community’s continued efforts to keep Amy’s story in the public eye.

The evening concluded with renewed hope and a shared commitment to continue raising awareness and pressing forward in the search for answers.

Thank you to everyone who walked, supported, and stood together for Amy. Every voice, every step, and every act of support helps advance the search for Amy forward.
